Why is it not called episode 2? First you play Half Life 2, then Half Life 2 Episode 1?

Okay, this is getting ludicrous. Seriously. Valve just keeps pushing the game back and back and back.
Come on! Does it really take almost two years to make a 7-hour expansion to a game?!
Argh... I gotz to work on my patience.

"Does it really take almost two years to make a 7-hour expansion to a game?!"
Depending on the game the answer can surely be yes. Look at Shadow of the Colossus, it took 3 years to develop and you can pass it in a few hours also. I think I had 8 hours of gameplay on my save game.

LOVE HL2 and Deathmatching online, HATE Valve's marketing strategies. They should not even open their mouths about releasing a game- just release it for christ sake!

Aaarrggh! First the Air-Force decides that they should ship me to BMT the day before the 4th of July, and now it looks like I won't have much time to make sweet, sweet love to HL2-EP1! Calamity of calamities!
