I wouldn't mind a 64 player style versus game that combines the resource gathering (you buy the bots) of an RTS with the capture points of.. well.. too many to count, and the purchasing style system of The Outfit. Would be actually pretty fun. RTS style gaming but you're in the heat of it.

Dollars to donuts this comes out right after Starcraft II, and nobody ever plays it, ever.

I just hope in their desperate attempt to revolutionize RTS games, they don't start adding depth upon depth upon depth until, before you know it, you have a realtime Masters of Orion scaled game with political, technological, and even morality based decisions and reprecussions. Nothing annoys me more than a game that ruins itself by trying to be the most in depth experience ever. Seriously, that's what ruined Disgaia 2 for me.

This has to be one of the best ways I've seen a company market a new game. It has the ARG aspect, but it takes it to a whole new level in my book.

This will be an interesting story to follow, and it's making me really curious as to what kind of stuff they plan on doing to revolutionize the RTS genre.

Also, let's hope they don't hype it up the way Molyneux does to every single one of his games, 'Fable will revolutionize the RPG genre.' anyone?
