An iron set to the cotton temperature with steam enabled would be able to get those creases out of that cotton card matt.

I'm not a card geek, no offense, but this game looks frigging sweet. Now if they could only do that whole Star Wars holographic animal chess game seen in the movie, I'm in.

I'm really looking forward to Eye of Judgement. If you take the price of the camera into account, the game itself is only $29.99, not a bad deal for a combo :)

But there are also booster packs that you can buy to get better cards. Granted, buying more cards is completely and totally optional, but anyone who has played a CCG before knows that starter decks are more than likely trash.

don't you have to go play wiisports or something?

too bad that feeling you had for the wii when it first came out is gone and you wish you could get your money back to afford a better system like the 360 or ps3

Its always funny to see a pathetic fanboy try to spin something bad. you're always good for a laugh Fernando.

Back on topic. I can see this game becoming a sleeper hit for the PS3. Definitely picking it up for the Eye alone.

tabletop card games are huge among a certain segment of gamers... the ability to play against someone else who is interested in that type of gaming without having to leave the comfort of your own home and head down to the back room of a local comic/game shop containing a few people with questionable hygiene habits is more of a refinement than a gimmick.

He's right: It is a gimmick

But a gimmick is not necessarily a bad thing. I don't know where this stigma about the word "gimmick" came from. Its something peculiar that is applicable in an esoteric way

I don't see what the problem is, it looks like a unique concept

Fernando you are the Uwe Boll of troll/bloggers. You try to troll and you fail miserably. No one really likes you and you don't seem to understand that. So I'm sure even you see the parallels between yourself and Uwe Boll. Oh yeah one more thing "UR MR. GAY"

I know, right? Such a gimmick game. I mean, it even comes with a camera named EyeToy. God, they are so ripping off Live Vision. I bet it even comes with a completely unplayable game.

In all seriousness, if the gimmick has depth, I have no problem with the gimmick. Ouendon is a gimmick game but it's my favorite DS game by far (sorry, can't get into EBA). And considering this looks strikingly similar to Triple Triad, it has me drooling all the more. I have no problems with gimmicks. Just make it deep enough so that the initial "oooooo" lasts. Most other EyeToy software didn't do that (Only Kinetic could do that IMO). This looks like it stands a chance.

Disappointing that it's still so light sensitive. That was a major problem for me with the last Eye Toy. Even with all the lights on in the house it was difficult for the camera to get a good image. Maybe it should have some sort of built-in lamp?

don't worry, they'll release one eight months later with a lamp built in. Yes it would make more sense to do it right the first time but they know people will rebuy anyway, so why make the effort?

Agreed. I don't understand the concept myself. Card games seem like something to do with people there. Placing cards on a table, then photographings them seems like too many steps. Overcomplicated really.

I will be more interested in the other uses for the camera.

Nato-

Agreed, playing a card game on a table with a consoles vid system doesn't do it for me, but that camera is a nice looking piece of hardware, and it would be interesting to see what else they come up with for it.

I think if Sony paid for the Magic license this really would do amazing things for the PS3. Either that or Yu Gi Oh. Except one of those is a good card game, and the other one is Yu Gi oh.

Hey Yu-gi-Oh isn't that bad...Ok maybe you have a point there but the problem with Yu-gi-oh (pronounced You-gay-hoe!) IMO is the same problem that Halo has ,yeah that’s right pants on head retarded teenagers that simply wont shut the f*ck up and Pedophiles. You can rarely found normal people or Blorg: The creature that came from the basement of their parent’s house (or in D&D language Dungeon Master) playing the game.

IMO yu-gi-oh would be perfect for this stuff also Magic but for some reason Magic games tend to suck thanks to the fact that they don’t hire good developers also that MGO staff should at least enhance the interface, really MGO interface looks like a pool table or something and the 5 options of background kind of suck.

I would pay the 599$ for a PS3 if it includes the PSeye, the eye of judgment and the empty hope of a Yu-gi-oh, Duel Masters or Magic the gathering game.

Henry, I'm with you on the lighting problems with the eyetoy. I truly believed that if you lived on the sun it would still find a corner too dark.

Fernando, I get your crack on the whole gimmick thing but I feel that the Eyetoy is waaaaay more interactive that the nunchuck/wiimote will ever be. I'm sure its fun though.

Amen. I like the concept and I think it has, what's that word...potential. Eye of Judgment is already a better idea than any previous web cam use on a console.

Doesn't mean it'll take off in the market.

I'm normally the average wii60 fanbot, but I remember seeing this at E3 06?. Anyway for the right price I could be tempted to get a ps3 just to try this out. If for nothing else but to quell my intrigue.

I don't remember seeing this exact game, but they have had EyeToy games for a long time. I would have never thought anything like this would catch on, but apparently it's starting to. I haven't seen anyone talk about the Xbox 360 camera in a while, does anyone still use those?

The good thing about Magic + computers is that lamers who don't know the rules can stfu.

Actually is not as fun as the real thing, yeah you can Swear like a M*therEffer in crack over the internets but is not as great as the real thing for example the newbs that forget the effect of a spell that cause you to lose the game(I forgot the name is one that counters a spell for 0 but you lose the game the next turn if you don't pay it) is always funny to see that especially in Casual in 3 vs 3 matches but in MGO you have all these pop-ups reminders.

I stop playing MtG, sometimes I play for fun with my old kaminawa/Mirrodin decks oh good times, the only thing I have to say about MtG players is that for some reason they believe they are the L33t players of the realm of nerdiness, they always bash You-gay-hoe players yeah the reasons are valid and correct but for someone like me that tried every single game including Heroclix(I didn’t like it a bit) or VS (Same as hero clix) I think that’s silly but by the other hand you-gay-hoe players do suck.
